I have a library book club meeting on Monday and am only 25 pages into a 500+ book. I could power through it over the next few days, but I just can't seem to motivate myself to read it. (Instead I am enjoying the very lovely Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger). So here's the question: Should I go to book club even though I haven't read the book (and most likely never will)?

I say go anyway because you can listen in and depending on what you hear, it may motivate you to finish the book.
I say go. Despite reading the book or not, you'll be around good company, right?
My other suggestion is to read just a bit more into the book. If your feelings do not change, then stop.
I agree with Jenny. The book club meeting will tell you for sure whether or not you should take the time to finish it. Looking forward to your review of Her Fearful Symmetry!
Thanks for the advice. I will definitely try to read a little more of the book and attend the meeting. I will let you know how it goes!
