Last week was not a good week for me. I continue to work my way through The Magicians by Lev Grossman. The book hit somewhat of a lull in the plot during the week making it hard to finish. But last night at bedtime, the action picked up and I didn't want to put it down. I am hoping to finish it tonight. Today at lunch I am planning on starting one of my mom's favorite books, The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. This is our book club pick for May and I am very excited to read it! Lastly, I had to return Secrets of Eden by Chris Bohjalian to the library and was unable to finish in time. I really need to stop watching episodes of Modern Family and Glee on hulu and read more!
What are you reading? (This meme is hosted by Book Journey.)

You'll have to tell us how you liked the Magician when you finish it. I was sort of on the fence with that one, so it will be interesting to see your review.
Enjoy your week!
Good morning! The Art Of Racing In The Rain was on our book club list but was not chosen. I will be interested in your review.
Have a super week :D
I read one of Stein's books and enjoyed it then learned of The Art of Racing which is supposed to be even better. Enjoy! Happy reading. My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/04/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-26.html
I'm hoping my book club picks The Art of Racing in the Rain! Hope you are liking it...I've heard it's wonderful!
I started Magician once and put it down because I felt the pace was too slow, I plan on reading it though. I will have to check out your review to see if you liked it in the end.
The Art of Racing in the Rain has intrigued me, maybe it's the dog on the cover. lol will have to check that one out.

I've just finished Paul O'Grady's autobiography and Last night I started Jim Butcher's Changes.
Enjoy your reading!
I have The Art of Racing in the Rain in my stack of TBR books. I think I'll wait until your review to start it. I just started reading "Loving in the Moment" by Gina Lake. It's about moving from ego to essence in a relationship. I'm finding it fascinating.
I loved The Art of Racing in the Rain! I hope you enjoy it. Having to return a library book before you finish is just torture, isn't it?
Isn't Modern Family the MOST HILARIOUS show on TV now???
