The opposite of last week’s question: “What’s the best ‘worst’ book you’ve ever read — the one you like despite some negative reviews or features?”
Hmmm -- I guess the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. I love these books, yet they don't get a lot of respect from some readers and critics. Personally, I love them because they are fun, entertaining, and escapist reads. Plus, Sookie is a heroine who is strong and stands up for what she believes in.
What is your best 'worst' book?

Thanks for visiting my blog! I had the same experience as you with the Twilight saga, I loved the first one but I was really disappointed by Breaking Dawn. Happy BTT!
Oh, I LUV Sookie! (actually, I Luv Eric even more, but that's another subject!) Great choice, I didn't even think of these...
Have a great Thursday, and a wonderful weekend ahead!
A Sookie fan, I kinda got turned off after watching True Blood, is there anything other than sex in it?
Maybe teh books are better
I've never heard of it.
Good for you for thinking of one!
Thanks for stopping by :)
I've never heard of Sookie! Thanks for stopping by!
Wow - I thought everyone loved these (so I didn't realize there were negative reviews). I have the first two as audiobooks, but haven't started them yet. I'll have to start them soon.
I love the covers of the books in this series! :) I have yet to read any of them, but they sound very entertaining.
Thanks for writing about Sookie
I love her, the series and True Blood ( but it is a different thing than the books)
Thanks, "Dallas"

Escapism, that's what I look for in a book, good reviews or not.
I've yet to read this series myself, but I really want to. It sounds awesome!
Hmmm, I haven't heard of this series, but I will keep it in mind next time I'm looking for an escape! Thanks for visiting my blog.
The Sookie books are the very best! I can't wait for Dead and Gone.
Well even if some readers dont like the series I guess some people do since it's such a popular TV series now.
never heard of it but sometimes those "bad" books are really good! :-)
OOOOH I love Sookie.. I'm yet to start book 8 :)
I choose Twilight and The DaVinci Code for my answer :)
I recommended these books to another blogger. I've only read the first one and i think it fell into the category that it's so bad, it's rather good! Some very cheesy moments and cliched writing but fun ideas. (and there's Eric of course. Mmmm...)
