Here’s the question:
Some people read one book at a time. Some people have a number of them on the go at any given time, perhaps a reading in bed book, a breakfast table book, a bathroom book, and so on, which leads me to…
Are you currently reading more than one book?
If so, how many books are you currently reading?
Is this normal for you?
Where do you keep your current reads?
I am currently reading one book, I'm Not Scared by Niccolo Ammaniti. I am only reading one because I just finished two others and reviewed them for my blog. I am in a transitional period where I pick one or two more books to start. I usually read 2 or 3 books at a time. I read one challenge book, one book club book, and one book for fun. I keep my current reads all over the place -- the dining room table, my nightstand, the coffee table in my living room, etc...
How about you?

2-3 books are just perfect at a time :D
Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping by :)
Sounds like we are the same in that we have a few books on the go at a time and they all over the house.
I am a typical 1 book reader unless the other book is non fiction which I read for my knowledge not for entertainment
I'm liking the idea of reading several books at once! :) It never appealed to me in the least until lately... but it's pretty fun!
I'm usually a one book reader but I've got three at the moment. Granted, one is non-fiction and the others are fiction so they vary.
I like that - one challenge book, one book club book and one for fun.
Sounds like a great system!
I somehow have got to 7, ridiculous!
I divide up my reading much the same way. A review book, a me book, and a work book. :-)
I have read 3 at a time, but find it too much for me. But sometimes I will overlap if I'm finishing one and I get another one that I can't wait to read. But then I'm back down to just 2. My reading table is awesome, especially because my dad made it. :) Thanks for visiting me today, Jess!
I have always been a one book at a time reader, I have tried to read two at the same time, but I just can't do it!
Thanks for visiting my blog :-)
I'm in transition on my fiction book too. I finished one last night, and am not sure what I'm going to pick up next.
What you say is quite interesting - do you not find your book club + challenge books fun? I only sign up for challenges if I think I'll enjoy reading the books, so I only tend to read one book at a time.
I take the current book with me wherever I go. I hate to be without a book when, say, I’m waiting in line at the bank or car wash.
Farmlanebooks-- Oh no! I didn't mean to imply that I don't like my challenge and book club books, it is just a way to stay organized by labeling them.
For me, one book at a time is good :)
Hi!
Sometimes I read just 3 and I usually have mine scattered around also. Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great evening!

I read at least two novels at a time - one at home and one in my bag that I take to work and read on my lunch hour. Sometimes I fit in some poetry or short stories and have a book on CD in the car for my work commute.
I used to be just one at a time, but now I have two or three. A podcast book, a podcast lecture, a book in the car, and a novel in the house. Often the others get extra attention so I finish them.
one book reader here also. unless i got bored with what i am currently reading.
thanks for stopping by @ www.blipbit.com
I generally like to read one at a time but find myself reading more than one quite often. But when I do read more than one they are completely different types of books. That way I don't get confused.
Thanks for visiting mine! :)
I try not to read more than one novel at a time, but sometimes that happens. A second book would be a non-fiction type and then a third is usually a reference type!
This was a good BTT this week I think :-)!
That inbetween time is really hard - when you are just out of one book and waiting to find the next one to capture your imagination.
