Booking Through Thursday -- 4/16

Yesterday, April 15th, was Tax Day here in the U.S., which means lots of lucky people will get refunds of over-paid taxes.
Whether you’re one of them or not, what would you spend an unexpected windfall on? Say … $50? How about $500?

If it was a lot of money, I would probably split the windfall in half and spend the first half on paying off my student loans and then donate the second half to my local public or school library. If it was a smaller amount, I would most likely buy bookshelves for my apartment and work on filling them with books. (I very rarely spend money on books. Mostly, I get all my books from the library.)

What about you?

Sweet that you would donate like that... I consider my overdue fines as my "library donation," lol... plus I buy books at the book sale often. If the library's book sale AND the arrival of the check were perfectly timed together, I might go a little silly and buy more than I can pack home :-D

I'm with you on getting bookshelves! I'm a book buyer, and I'm just running out of space! I didn't think about paying off my student loans. Good idea!

I definitely need more shelves. I've been looking around. The trouble is - I can afford a new bookshelf but I'm stumped as to where we can put it!

I would start my own business...I would love to own a little used bookstore, where people could come and browse the shelves, sit in cozy chairs and do some reading, have a cup of tea. Yep, that's what I would do!

I always get my books from the library. I'd love to be able to just fill a new bookshelf with books!

Everyone could use bookshelves. I usually buy my books. Paying off student loans would be good and every library can use a donation. Happy BTT! I hope you have a lovely day.

That's really sweet to think of the library like that, I too use my local library most of the time. Book shelves are always a good idea!
Thank you for visiting my blog!

Hi!
I usually get books from the library too. But once in awhile I buy a book or get one through my book club! Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great evening!

And what book lover doesn't need new bookshelves haha. I think it's an almost chronic affliction for us.
